Sacrament of Confirmation

Confirmation, together with Baptism and Eucharist, form the Sacraments of Initiation that are all intimately connected. In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is "sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit" and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ.

Teen Confirmation:

The celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation will be delayed beyond the May 11,2020, date that was scheduled at SSJ.  At this time, we have no estimated date for Confirmation.

The documents below are required by teens to be completed by May 11 in order to receive the sacrament:
  *  Sponsor Form (Teens who have not yet completed these form are listed on last page)
  *  Letter to Bishop (All teens need to complete letter to Bishop Vann)
  *  Saint Report (Teens who have not yet turned in their report are listed on the last page)

This is a two-year preparation program which normally culminates in the celebration of the sacrament during the Easter season of the second year.
